ABOUT CHERICE N. CLARK

Associate Broker and Team Lead for The Clark Team at Taylor Properties in Annapolis, MD.  A Los Angeles native that relocated to the DC metropolitan area 25 years ago to pursue higher education at Howard University.  With a concentration in pre-law, I found my passion working for a boutique real estate company in Georgetown.  In this environment my natural talents: sales, negotiation and problem solving were made very clear.

After becoming licensed in Maryland, I quickly pursued and obtained my DC real estate license.  Understanding knowledge is power I also plunged into serveral professional designation courses and obtained some of the highest in the business.  My GRI designation couple with years of experience helped me meet the requiements to obtain my Maryland broker license.

In 2005, I started The Clark Team in an effort to recruit and mentor strong talent in real estate.  Today the team is managed by myself, my husband Gregory and my daughter Brittany.  We provide exceptional service to sellers, landlords, buyers and renters.

I am passionate about my job and keep up to date on the latest market trends and strategies in an effort to benefit my clients.  My team works hard to provide exceptional service, personal guidance and professional competence from contract to closing.  My philosophy is simple: "clients come first".  As a team we are able to maintain constant communication with our clients, keeping them fully informed throughout the entire transaction.  I believe if you are not left with an amazing experience, I haven’t done my job.  I don’t measure success through achievements or awards, but through the satisfaction of my clients.

I have worked in several areas in real estate that include but are not limited to leasing and property management, new construction, commercial as well as residential sales. I have additionally prioritized obtaining several professional designations in an effort to raise the service level I provide my clients. As a firm believer in the adage "knowledge is power" I hold the following designations:

GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) - One of the highest designations that can be attained in real estate. GRI's are nationally recognized as top performers in the real estate industry. 

CRS (Certified Residential Specialists) - Also among the highest designations that can be attained in real estate. This designation recognizes professional accomplishments in both education and experience. 

e-PRO - With the trends in real estate quickly moving toward the "e-transaction" obtaining the e-PRO designation was imperative to meet her clients needs. 

CNHS (Cerrtified New Homes Specialist) - This designation provided the necessary knowledge to provide quality service to her clients purchasing new construction. 

ABR (Accreditied Buyer Representative) - "The benchmark of excellence in buyer representation", this designation coupled with education and prior experience has elevated the level of service provided to her buyer clients. 

SFR (Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource) - This designation provided the necessary knowledge to guide clients through the sale of their distressed property.
